University Forges Global Alliances!

Capilano University (CapU), based in British Columbia, Canada, has recently collaborated with Universidad de Dagupan (UdD) to enhance the curriculum mapping of the Tourism Management and Early Childhood Education programs. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in fostering global partnerships and improving educational standards.
The initiative aims to integrate best practices and contemporary methodologies from CapU into UdD's curriculum, ensuring students receive a comprehensive and competitive education. Curriculum mapping involves aligning learning outcomes, course content, and assessments to ensure coherence and relevance to industry demands.
Visiting from CapU were Chris Bottrill, Associate Vice President of International at the Centre for International Experience, and Kashif Mardhani, Convenor of BTM & Instructor at the School of Tourism Management within the Faculty of Global and Community Studies.
By sharing expertise and resources, CapU contributes to the development of high-quality education in the Philippines. This partnership benefits students by providing them with a more globally relevant education and equipping them with skills that meet international standards.
